Vermaelen Happy To Be Back

"I feel good," said Arsenal Vermaelen. "I've trained [Monday] with the team and I felt good right away I felt confident [last night].

"I think it's just in your head, and a spiritual thing - if you are a footballer you have to be there soon.

"That's why I wanted to play today, and I think it's good.

He added: "It was great to be back and get time on the ground.

"I felt fresh, I am well and are available on Saturday."
